Angela Davis - founder
Angela Davis grew up in Houston’s 3rd ward she’s the youngest of 9 children.
She was a skilled professional in her field of marketing and customer service with over 25 years of experience. In her life, she faced many battles but overcame them by her faith in GOD. She wrote a short story about it in 2018 and published it on Amazon.
She and her daughter Cortney Davis founded E.V.E. Foundation in 2013 to help their city and community to become healthier, informed, and empowered. Their goal is to hopefully become another pillar in the city of Houston.
Cortney DAVIS- Co-founder
Cortney Davis is the co-founder of E.V.E Foundation and the daughter of Angela Davis. She has a background in healthcare and education and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Houston-Downtown.
Her altruistic and empathetic nature motivated her to co-found E.V.E foundation with her mom. Possessing fortitude, and perseverance in the face of life’s obstacles allows her to contribute wisdom to the organization. Some of Cortney’s primary life’s goals are to eradicate homelessness and serve humanity through music and medicine.
